Well first off I got some new responsibilities. Being the designated driver, playing the piano at church, teaching a class at church, and singing at Spanish conference. Scary!
So we have been doing pretty well with our Gluten Free diet all the members know now and they are so sweet trying to make us things to eat. Thank heavens almost everything Mexican doesn’t have flour in it!
This week we worked a lot with a 16 year old named Alejandra she is from Nicaragua and came out to teach with us (she is only in the states for a month). She is a sweetheart and she wasn’t afraid to bear her testimony with all.
On Friday we were able to take an Investigator and Hector’s Family to the Winter Quarters trail center!!! It was a beautiful experience as we walked around the temple and the little kids telling us how much they wanted to go in. The spirit was so strong.
We were also able to attend a Greek Orthodox church on Sunday. Our mission president has challenged us to always keep a Book of Mormon in our hands at all times and I bet we stuck out like a sore thumb, but everyone was so sweet and explained all of the services to us.
We were also able to go to an Italian Festival and get matching shirts 🙂 Everyone already calls us twins. I just don’t see it!
